Wi-Fi with backed up games?

hi guys do u know if wi-fi work when u have backed up games. i just burned pro evolution soccer 2009 and the wi-fi didn't work. was it due to just my connection or was it because it just can't? please reply thank u .

You should be able to go online and asked you to update a new data to play online games..

No you will get kicked off of nintendo Live, aka banned. Come on dude, there is 100 threads on this. You need to connect to a wireless router, if you don't have one, then it won't work. Then go to the internet setup.

ihave mario kart wii and i play online all the time fine and my fw is 3.3u with the animal crossing update just turn wiiconnect24 off you suold be fine

dude, wiiconnect24 wouldn't cause any issues. Plus it needs to be on for some channels. I have played online since wii came out with connect24 on. They do not check for mods.

well somebody said turn it off or it will auto updtae ur wii and mess up my backup launcher and wads and homebrew stuff

yes i do have a wireless router and with my original games ( not backed up) the wi-fi works fine it sais i need to update or a file is missing. something like that anyway.

do you get an error? What does it do, need more information other that "it doesn't work"

gameover. there's no error, all he need before you can play online there's an update on the game itself which is not a firmware, unlike mariokart or animal crossing there no data needed to play online.

guys i was saying that the wi-fi works fine with my original games, the wi fi on my burned game i downloaded from espalwii.com and is from my region PAL. anyway fiber32 how do i download the data needed online, when u say online is that on the computer or on the wii? please can u tell me exactly what 2 do i'm a noob at this type of stuff.

See fiber! I was right! Anyway, he is referring to an update by the game, only if it asks for one. So the game runs, but just won't go online? Weird. No errors?

The data it needs is the game save update and also adding more players to some nations which if you have the original you have to be validated as legimate owner. If not then sorry...
"Only users who have downloaded content data which has been validated will be able to play online"

you need an IOS patch to have the Wii Speak works on 3.2..not sure which one... google should be able to help you..
