Hi. I'm fairly new to all this, and have a lg4040b burner with firmware a104 right now. I've been doing a fair bit of reading the last couple of weeks, and have managed to get it to work with dvdxcopyplatinum, nero, and dvdshrink using fujifilm dvd+ with good results. The quesion I have is what advantages will I see if I try and upgrade the firmware to the latest version. I'm a bit hesistant to do so, as I seem to have it working now, and well it took a bit of reading and tweaking to get it there. Thanks in advance for any help with this.
