I have been searching and I am lost.

I have a Fat psp 1001 Version 3.03 I want to mod it. I have purchased a pandora battery. I would like to make a magic stick but I am unsure of what to make.

I read it has to go back to version 1.50 before modding up to the firmware I want.

Do I make a magic stick with 1.50 or does the battery do that? What firmware do I need to use? I was thinking the 5.00 M33

I am confused, could someone please help me straighten my confusion out? Pandoras battery was only $7. I figure I could save money on the stick by making one but unsure of what I need to make?

OK...

I am making a MMS 3.71M33 and I have all the files to make my MMS 5.00M33.

So I get to MMS 3.71M33 and then do the same thing to get to 5.00M33? Correct?

http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/708959 follow this guide step by step don't just put the 5.00M33 file on there and try and boot it i have no idea what that would do, once you have made the MMS stick as the above link describes take normal battery out put in pandora then it will auto power on the insert MMS stick and it will boot up like the guide says

and you can go straight from OFW 3.03 to CFW 3.71M33 you do not need to downgrade to 1.50 OFW like some people say that was an old way before pandora batterys and you used a GTA game, i had a psp phat 3.03 OFW and went 3.71M33 then 5.00M33 and 5.00M33-6 no problem, it will warn you this might brick your psp the guide says its 99.9% safe i have done with this software psp phat 3.03, psp slim 3.71 and a jap psp phat 3.71 no problem

and basically once you have done this it will ask you to press X which will power down psp swap back to normal battery and power up check your firmware version should now read 3.71M33 if if reads 3.71 you did the OFW and need to repeat the process, then go to games and look for the other CFW you can upgrade to
