I'm not sure what you mean by 'XD Card Recovery', but you can view most image files with Irfanview.
If you download it, get the main program and the plugins.

Thanks , will try. took photos on my camera but when i put the xd card into my computer ,it said the card needed formatting, which i believe will erase the images.i can see them on the camera but not on pc. so i am tryig to view and save them

Does the Windows 'Scanner and Camera Wizard' run?

Did it work ok previously.

Are you using a card reader that plugs into the PC.
