deadalus n64 rom running problem

Ok so I'm going to preface this by saying i have tried running my own roms(not the ones the emulator came with) on deadalus and the new beta 2 Daedalus. when i click for it to start the emulation the screen turns black. The system is still on though. I can run the roms the emulators had come with though but none that i put there. IT always recognizes them. When I put the roms in i put them in the roms folder inside deadulas. Currently i have the Deadulas X64 beta 2..HELP PORFAVOR : )

well not all roms are actually working...
the ones that work to my knowledge are
super mario 64
smash bros
rampage
mario kart
Zelda OoT(but fps are pretty low)
