Hi Guys,
Im sitting with my sisters Wii,
Its never been modded in any way and it has 3.1 Firmware so Im guessing I can mod it with backup launcher and homebrew.
The problem I face Is Im a newbie at the wii,mine came with 3.4 so I only how to do that and the software up for downloading only covers 3.3 & 3.4
Can some one advise me of the software i need to mod this 3.1E Pal system.

Im guessing that the homebrew files i used on my 3.4 will be the same and I just need to replace my 3.4 files on my SD card that I have already. Is that what you mean when you say: "You have used the save file for 3.1 for the homebrew...which is the beta1... "
The files to download has a folder for 3.3 in it as well as my 3.4 and if im reading the tutorial properly I can use the 3.3 files for this 3.1 is that right?
larrylje's has set up the 3.3 folders with all the needed files and Im wondering what the diffence between them and the link you sent me to Fibre?
Sorry for the questions I know what I have to do but there are so many versions of these files on the net I want to make sure I have everything in order before I go for it although it does seem like it will be easier than the 3.4 if Ive no wii fix to do which means I dont need to have an internet connection either ?

3.1 is easier than 3.4 (3.3 folder also contains the Beta1), yes used the 3.3 folder. the link i provided is the ORIGINAL source..

Working fine and I even went for the V4 update from The Big N and all is well...Mind you it took ages for the v4 update I was panicking in case they had made any new changes lol

Yes takes a while for 3.1 to 4.0, around 15 to 20 minutes depending on your connections..so as i have told you 3.1 is much easier than 3.4... did you used method 1 for 4.0?
