Can the DVD X Copy be re-written so that only one copy of a DVD can be made and verified that it works? Could doing so make the ripper legal? Just a thought.

Backing up my cd collection since I bought my first one. I now have over 1400 original and copies of my collection.

Thats not really the issue, more to do with the actual De-CSS engine used.
