i have one of the newer xbox's with a liteon drive, i have no problem flashing the benq but the liteon are to difficult for me. I have the chance to buy a benq so could i take out the liteon drive and play the benq no prob or is there more steps to do in order to do this

To the best of my knowledge (im almost posotive) that in order to spoof the BenQ as the Lite-on drive so that it works on your 360 you would need pretty much the same eqiupment and have to go through the same process that you would to flash the lite-on so id say save yourself some money and buy the $30 piece to mod a lite-on and learn how to and do it.

thanks, i really didn't know that you had to have the same dvd tray in the xbox for it to work

you don't ...

you can spoof any DVD drive in place of the liteon but you need the DVD key and all releveant drive information to do it...

the DVD key is what stops you from simply removing one drive and putting in another...
