tried to play a dvd (original) last night and it wouldn't let me play it, interactual dvd player said i had a sound card error and wouldn't play, and real one player played it but without sound.

this was the big lebowski, which i started to rip to avi earlier that week but stopped cos i ran out of hd space.none of my other dvds will play now, real one player says there's a copyright error or something, and wont play even thought they're new bought dvd's.

inter actual still says its a sound card problem but everything else (cd's games, etc) plays audio fine n i've reinstalled my sound card driver n it still says the same....probably something real simple but can anyone help?
