I am using mywiidownloads and unlocked my system and have the homebrew channel up and ready to go. It took me 6 days to figure that all out so I am asking you for help now so it doesn't take me another month of ripping my hair out.

From what I understand I can copy games and play them back on my wii.. but how. I have tried downloading them and I can't burn them with the program they suggest (ImgBurn) because the files aren't converted to what they ask for .. ISO.. and how do I convert this file to that? I have tried that as well by downloading a few different programs.. nothign is working for me.

I walked through mywiidownloads tutorial of everything I am supposed to do and it's all hebrew to this Canadian Mom. I am at a loss right about now and need to start over and with a little help from you I may juist get what I need.

I am only looking to copy games simply becasue We live in a Village with very few Wii game rentals, and those are rented already when we get there so we have been buying them and have been badly dissapointed in the outcome of teh game so this will give us a way of checking things out so we will know what we need to buy without wasting our money.

First off the site you signed up and paid for is a rip off.

You can get all of this stuff for free and do not have to pay anything (except for hardware like SD card).

What is the file extension of the Wii file if it isnt .iso?

Have you installed a cIOS along with a backup launcher like WiiGator?

I installed what I mentioned and that's all. I have a few games on Homebrew but nothing exciting. I am at a complete loss now and have no idea what else or where else to go to get more of everything that every one else is talking about.. sure sounds good... but only if I EVER get there.. LOL. I did download the wiigator like you mentioned, now does this go on my Wii.. and if so how.. what exactly is the 'root' of my SD card?? If you have the patience and the time.. please please please be my saviour and walk me through this like a toddler.. because that is what I need.. LOL.

I have a 2GB card for my Wii right now and plan on getting another.. this one is for my camera.. I am connected to the internet via a wired connection I have no idea what else you may need to know.

Root of the sd card means to put the files straight into the sd card. heres a link for wiigator install.

1. Begin by formatting your SD card to FAT16 if it is not already (in Windows it's just called "FAT"). FAT32 should also work in the latest release. (Formatting will erase ALL data!)
2. Copy the "private" directory from the download to your SD card.

The guide goes into perfect deatil on the rest

Also if you google torrents, the first 4 results will all help you, the 4th one is a torrent search engine. Just search Wii.

Well it would be good to know in detail what you have installed so far. As well what firmware version you have on the Wii system.

That way we can help with what you still need to install and how to go about installing it.

My guide HERE is an all in 1 guide that gives you Wii and GameCube backup support. As well shows you how to install the SD/USB Loader which can run games from a USB Hard Drive Device (You can rip or transfer Wii games to the USB HDD device and play the games from it).

You also never answered the question about the file you said you downloaded. You said it did not have an IOS extension and I asked what extension it had on it?

Is homebrew disk loader the same thing as the WiiGator??? I am going to goto your site and see if it can help me any.. LOL.. I imagine I'll have loads of questions still... shall I ask them there is here???

if there are multiple files ends with RAR, then used a winrar to compile just double click top most or any file end in rar, WInrar will start compiling after its done it will give a file than end with ISO on the same subfolder. then you can use IMGburn to burn the ISO image.
