Hey guys, I am new to the whole Softmodding/Hardmodding thing. I am wondering if I want to soft mod my ps2(fat one) do i need to have an actual harddrive?
I want to just play burned video games, how do I go about doing so?
Do some searching on free mcboot and esr. Lots of info in this forum. The cheapest way to install this softmod is to have someone else install fmcb 1.8 for you.
There are people over at psx-scene forums that will do it for the cost of postage to them and back to you.
If you want to pay them something, its up too you.
I wouldn't use the Western Digital because in order to use it, you need to modify the Network Adapter.
Although playing games off the hdd is the way to go, saves on discs etc
Holds a lot of games.
