helloww all, thankss (KajNrig) for your help, so I have sach problem: I tell you aboute my PS2, some years ago my frien broth me my PS2 from Evrop. (PAL). it worked original discs onli, afret that I take it to teknical support and they puted some hardware (named CHIP) in, then I could load games from PIRAT discs, understand? (I can buy it to 5$ in my country) but my PS2 laser lens can not red well this games. I descowered thet there is alternative to load the games from USB devices. so I need your help. I have downloaded already USB advance from this LINK (http://www.sksapps.com/hd/USBAdvance1.Cracked.rar) wrote USB advance sowt on the CD, my PS2 can load it vell, but when i convert the game to USB flash drive (4GB 2.0 Format FAT32) PS2 ubs advance recognice the game but it do not load it. There written in smol window (PLEASE WAIT LOADING TITLE) but the game do not start. I instal the game sutch: (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5l2B093py50&feature=related) like this VIDEO, ul_format X format and ul_intal X X 'residentevil' DVD. I shink so my PS2 has a MODCHIP, it need to load pirate discs isn't it? so NEED HALP how can I do it properly. THANKS for all.......

If you have a Matrix Modchip, you need to "disable macrovision" in the config menu
It also could be that even though your USBAdvance starts, the USB drive is not compatible.
It is best to find a USB drive that is 1.1 USB backwards compatible, as the PS2 is 1.1, not 2.0

I do not know what kind a MODCHIP i have, but i know that my PS2 can load PRIVATE discs. Where can i see what kind modchip i have? can i see it in my PS2 main menu? ok i can take USB flash drive 1.1 and tray againe. I whant notice you that my PS2 is SLIM (75004), you know that this models works whith USB advance??????

I have the flash drive which has 2.0 and 1.1 functions, ok if it is speed problem i can take USB HDD. it is faster then USB flash drive, can you give me the game links whith works with USB advance software. to download. whith games can i load from USB understand?

The only way to really know what type of modchip you have is to take it apart and look.
You can try pressing "Triangle" when you boot up the PS2, to see if it is a Matrix.
Yes the SCPH-75004 is comaptible with USBAdvance
I can't give you links to download ps2 games directly, but if you do a google search I am sure you will find. Or search in this forum.

I think that my PS2s MODCHIP have not CONFIGURABLE manu, I pushed some of variantbuttons but it not sqreen notshing. I anderstud that i have problems with my modchip, it is not original chip, is it eny ather alternativ i do to solve this problem???

Well it may not be the modchip that is causing the problem.
Like I said you won't know for sure what modchip you have until you take it apart.
But instead of doing that you could try using another USB drive.
See if that works then.

Modchips are installed on the mobo.
You can look at this video to take apart the slim, or search for guides.
I don't know what kind it is, until you take it apart and look at it or take a picture if your not sure what it says.
You will find PS2 modchip pictures by searching google.

ok, so if i deside to change my PS2 modcip can you tell me whitch MODCHIP is better ? I want optimal modchip for PS2slim, understand, if i change, it mast be best one..... thanks againe for your help.

I need it to load games from usb HDD (Version 14 PS2 SCPH-75004) alsow i want play PS1 games full screen mode, (now it das not wark like) and game online games if it is possible. MATRIX is completeable for this all ? ? ?

I released thet there is M7 modchip in my PS2,,,,,, is it reason that my PS2 can not load games from USB drive ? ? ? this modchip has not configurable menu,,,, i searched some guids from GOOGLE.COM but i do not understand M7 modchit can or no load games from USB HDD. need againe your halp.......

It sounds like it should work fine with usb extreme.
I still think you should try another usb drive like those 160 GB external or something like that.
