Hi

Hoping someone may be able to help.

Have just had my 360 Elite flashed to 1.51. Have had a couple of games done for me - Resident Evil 5 and Godfather 2. I also have an old copy of Simpsons which was done in mid-2007, for my previous Xtreme modded 360.

Now, with RE5 I don't seem to have any problems - all working fine.

With Godfather 2, I can play the game, save it, but if I go to load a game, I get the unrecognised disc error and am told to clean the disc, etc.

As to Simpsons, I get to select language screen, select English then I get unrecognised disc error.

Now the funny thing is if I connect to Xbox Live, when loading the games they work fine. No idea why this is, but if on Live, they run fine. I can then unplug my netowrk adaptor and carry on playing, but I can't understand why the games will work fine when connected to live and I get the unrecognised disc error when not on Live.

Anyone got a solution? Have I had a bad flash done to my 360?

Cheers

the being connected to LIVE has no effect on it. at least im going to say with 99.9999999999999999% certainty that it doesnt. as for your simpsons game not wanting to play, im going to guess its not iexteme compatible, but then again, it shouldnt even boot so this really isnt the case. what media are your games on, memorex, veratiums, sony? if they are on anything other than verbs, im going to say thats the reason.

as to your bad flash question, if it was a bad flash, then nothing would work other than movie dvds and cds.

Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME

ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

Hey thanks very much for your reply.

No idea what the old Simpsns game was burnt to - nothing live Verbatim though I don't think.

The others were on 'Elite' branded discs which I have now heard to be quite unreliable.

Have installed Godfather 2 to the heard drive and this seems to make it work all he time now - although took 2 attempts to install it as on 1st go it said the disc could not be read half way through!

Thanks for your help!
