If I would install cfw 3.80, there is an option in the utility to go back to ofw 3.80, can I just run the utility to go back with no worrys after I install the cfw. Now if I would go up to 5.00 cfw after doing 3.80 cfw can I still run the utility after I did that to go back to ofw 3.80 or do I have to do some other utility to go back to cfw 3.80 and then onto the ofw 3.80.

You can upgrade your CFW to a higher CFW by placing the eboot in the UPDATE folder. If you want to revert from a CFW to OFW you need a pandora battery in order to avoid bricks. This will reformat flash0 and 1 and install the OFW clean of CFW files. Then, if you want to upgrade you OFW to a high OFW just place the eboot in the UPDATE folder.

You can't upgrade from CFW straight to OFW. This can brick your PSP. You will need to run the utility if you want to upgrade from OFW to CFW or vise versa.

I kind of under stand a little, but I am still confused. Is there a guide that shows how to revert back to ofw?
