I am getting this quite regular on some games that were working fine, i have recently flashed my drive to the 1.51 12x firmware for Benq.

Does anybody have any advice on reducing this error. I am not sure if it is my burner but as i say, games that were working fine are starting to give errors.

what media are your burning to? burn speed? but your laser could be going out so you might need to do the POT tweak, and if that doesnt work, you could either replace the laser, or just replace the drive with a new one (if the POT tweak this is what i would do).

I am using a pioneer 112d or something (while ago since i bought that), and im burning onto face printable verbatim d/l+r disks at 2.4x.

If you could provide more information as to what the tweak you mention is it would be greatful too,
