Help creating a Pandora Battery

Hi guys

Trying to downgrade a PSP slim 2003 with firmware 4.05. I have made the magic memory stick (not sure if it works though because....) and I then stayed up till 4.30 am trying to make the pandora battery. I have seen various tutorials saying to cut the wire next to the 19 with a razor blade. I did this, put the battery back in the PSP and it still registering as a normal battery. Took it out and cut a little deeper and it's still registering as a normal battery. I have cut the wire so much so now that there is a hole in the circuit board (seriously there is a massive chunk taken out of the circuit board and there is no way that wire is connected anymore) but, you guessed it the battery is still registering inside the PSP as a normal battery???

What am I doing wrong? Any help would be much appreciated.

I can post a picture of the battery if required, it's worth seeing if only for comedy purposes.

psp 200x can only run custom firmare at the moment that has out of the box OFW 3.95 or below sorry mate
