hi
i got my starview 4 box today and everything is working great until i try to record.
i had 120gb hd from my old laptop and it is in a caddy but the the caddy needs 2 usb slots one for power and one for the data sent through it. now as the box only has 1 usb slot, it wont work. i have tried using a usb hub but the hd drives just seems to click. do all caddys need to have the 2 usb slots or does anyone know any other way around this as i cant really afford to be buying an external hd.
cheers

you should be able to plug it into a powered usb hub and into your box.
all 3.5inch caddys come with an external powersupply, most 3.5 ones have the option on them for 5v in, my 2 have anyway.
