My battery accidently fell out of my PSP during a software update to 5.50. Only the green light shows up when I start it. Is there anyway to fix this?

You can go the custom firmware route, you will need a working PSP (a friends), memory stick and a pandora battery, read the threads on the subject.

With a pandora battery you can recover a bricked PSP.
