I have failed to flash a benq past 1.4, and I cannot flash it using dosflash 32. Is there an easier way (I know most experts use the other way.)

Jungle Flasher 0.1.55. The tutorial is linked in my signature.

I flashed my BenQ using that tutorial and it is very straightforward. I read it a couple of times so I knew what I was doing, then had it open and followed it step by step when I did the actual flashing. The hardest part for me was taking the 360 apart (and even that's not that difficult!). The actual flashing took 2 minutes.

Benq's are usually the easiest drive to flash. How are you powering the drive?

I am using the brick. It used to recognize everything after a few power resets, but now nothing. I assumed jungleflash and dos32 were the easiest (but I don't know if I need to have the drive halfway out.)

Do you know what chipset your sata is? If you dont have it you may want to looking to just getting the via 6421 and make life easier. They are cheap. If you already have it I would say you may be doing something wrong.

Has anyone had luck using a Asus P5K Intel based chipset?
I know its not on the list of ones that work but I read somewhere that people had luck using their own motherboard thats not a via or nforce chipset

So if my intel chipset sees the drive, then it should work? Or is there still the chance that it won't read properly/write.

Ive seen some people get it to show up but not put into vendor mode or be able to read. again tho is simply wont work. If you have more questions you should start a new thread as you have hijacked this one.
