My classic controller does not work with my SNES9X GX 4.0.0 emulator can someone please help me?

After starting the emulator, unplug and replug the classic controller. Then it should work.

Are you sure its version 4.0? 4.1 has controller mapping issues.

Thanks for the reply you two. Yeah i tried plugging and unplugging the controllers before but it doesn't work when I start the emulator the hand cursor moves very sluggish and when i unplug the controller it just makes the hand cursor move at normal speed as if nothing as was plugged in.

PS. I've tried using 4.0.0 4.0.1 and 4.0.3 and it isn't the controller because I can play all my VC games fine just the emulator doesn't work with my controller but it works with my GC controllers
