I'm having my Wii worked on (some games not loading anymore). The place that is repairing it thought the problem might be that some of my backups were made with trunca signer. The Wii has a wiikey 2 in it. All my backups are either downloaded releases, or copies of my originals with an LG drive.
I have no idea, other than snippets I've read, what the trunca signer is (was it a way to load backups without a chip?) That couldn't be the problem with some of my disks not loading could it? I wouldn't figure anything released on the net would have used it.
Sorry if it's a horribly newbie question, I just hadn't heard much about it, and want to check if that really could be the problem. (And if it is, can the disks be redumped or something?) Thanks for any info.

Yep, trucha signer can mess up games that are being played on a system that's version is above 3.2
