RTE 2,TV3 and TG4 gone on Starview 4?

Hi
Today I just noticed that RTE 2,TV3 and TG4 are now gone on both my Starview 4's. Is anyone else having this problem as well?
Also is this the final N*L push? No more channels are gone. Just the usual Sky Movies,Most Sports channels etc and now RTE 2, TV3 and Tg4?
I have also noticed MTV Base is gone and MTV+1.
Should I try a rescan or reflash to get back RTE 2 TV3 and TG4 or are they just gone like the others?

Missing same channels as well. Factory reset and rescan didn't help.

try to manual scan these frequencies 314000(rte1/2 tv3/tg4 then 452000 mgm mtv etc.good luck

nephew had same problem ended up doing a rescan 5 times before the channels came back do a manual scan

Iam in Dublin nthell a few channels are gone on sv4 but there not gone on eurovox, I deleted the channels that were gone and rescaned but still the same, is it a sv4 problem?

try facory reset,menu factory reset,enter password,ok to delete,then installation,language english,auto scan,when scan complete,on installation type in 1570 and switch on emu,exit back to tv and see what channels you have.

Thanks for reply but no joy, for eg, Gold+1 ok but can't get Gold, I noticed they are on a different frequency, all available channels working on eurovox.

i have the same problem..as well as rte channels some of the discovery ones are gone aswel.. tried all the things you do like rescan..factory reset but no joy and not many on here seem to have a solution for the problem..

Hey lads, same issue here, SV4, South East Ireland, NTL Cable.
Tried resetting and scanning again, no joy.

Hi
Just an update.
Now most of my News and Documentary channels are gone. All I can get is Discovery Turbo and one or two news channels.
I have tried everything.
I will have another go at the manual scan though.

its the SV4 fimrware thats having the problem, SV1, 2 and 3 working, but that firmware came from a different source, they have done something alrite and its knocked out the SV4,

if you know a friend that has a starview and recieving these channels then,ask him to press ok ,channel list will appear,tell him search for the channels you lost by pressing up arrow or down arrow,when you find a missing channel look below last channel on channel list, you will see a nunber enter this in to manual scan and your lost channels should reappear(providing ntl have not taken them off)meaning the switch over.

there is a change to the signal, sv4 (usb) not picking up most channels. sv1, 2 & 3 are still operational.

at this stage i'm sick of having to deal with starview boxes... not only have we been left without a fix like kryptview have but now starview 4 is on the blink....and there seems to be no fixing this latest problem either..what has happened to starview!!! from what i've read on other posts there is alot of people with starview boxes and there now is alot of these people gone down the kryptview way so you have to wonder is it a case now of the people behind starview laughing all the way to the bank and giving two fingers to the people who bought their boxes.....

Nothing is working!
I'm going to try all firmware versions for Starview 4 and hopefully one will work.
I'm doubtful though!

with backup gone sales are going to go downhill,ur choice if u want a better working box but for how long ?? kryptview.

you scan till the cows sprout wings mate, its the firmware, unless there is a fix for it, they wont be back on mate

Has anybody any idea what the fix needs to be? Something has to have changed for the firmware to suddenly stop working for these channels yesterday...
Should we all just go kryptview at this stage???
