Im trying to get my friends hitachi 47 into mode B. Im using a PC and sata card i have used on my hitatchi and that worked fine. Ive tried jungle flasher first and it doesnt detect the drive.

So I tried with slax and i still cant view the drive in my computer. Thing with slax is that when I get the spinning disk up bit (drive is empty), I eject my drive (or it just stick on that bit) the drive doesnt close (when I close it, it opens up even when I insert a disk)

Any ideas?

Fixed

Managed use Jungle Flasher after a few failed attempts at slax and a few more reboots. Not sure what I actually did to fix it so cant elaborate more on this sorry

Next up is a Benq, but I hear they are easier. Wish me luck
