I was just wondering, with new wii version 4, you can load games from SD card menu & it does support upto 32 GB memory card,Is ther any way we can burn back ups to SD card with out homebrew channel? becuse if you can then you won't need homebrew to play them? Am I right?

Bottom line, if you don't already have HBC on your Wii and it's version 4 then you're out of luck for now...

You can run VC/WiiWare games off SD Card with 4.0 Firmware.

You will need to use some sort of homebrew to play backup Wii games off of SD Card.
