Ive flashed 2 other hitachis before using textbooks method...but ive decided to mod my friends and he has the drive shown in the title and i cannot find anything on this...does anyone know where a tutorial might be for this drive?

Flash it with the 0032 FW if you can. Hard as hell to find a pre-maaa production Hitachi though.

Download the latest version of JungleFlasher. I think v.0.1.55 is the latest. Open that, and there will be a link for the User Guide. It's a .pdf, and it has a section for Flashing the Hitachi GDR-3120L.
