First question is besides Verbatim (which btw ISNT avaiable in ANY walmart stores, target and the closest bestbuy is like 45 min away, FL sucks) So using the available stores nearest to me what would be another good DVD-R Solution? Its fugging retarded to buy DVD media online, that and i hate waiting for packages.
I know memorex people have said suck, what about the sony brand? What would you rate in order 1-5 5 being last resort kinda deal?

Also i get alot of the games to load or start to load but then ill get disc cant be read right off the bat OR during game play (which sucks BTW when your playing rune factory and didnt save)is that a crappy media issue or am i not burning at a proper speed?
I usually burn all my games a 2x just because i have yet to see a Optimum Burning Speed break down per game list, so is there any recomendations to that? What should i be using in the 1x-4x range for the best non-coaster effect?
What should my options be in IMG burn for perfect game burns?

Also i was thinking about looking into a Mod Chip, would you say that you get better load times/less disc read errors? After doing some research i probly will get a Wasabi Zero does it come (getting it from modchipcentral)with all i need or do i need to get the chip and something else?

Then my last set of questions (sorry but at least i didnt noob out and make 4 seperate posts LOL) As per what i have been reading if i wanted to go the USB HDD img Loader route all my images have to be NTSC (as i have a ntsc Wii)? So there is no opting to force NTSC like with gamma or anything? And if so where the hell do you find all NTSC img's ?

Sony is generally a pretty good brand. Really though it depends on your wii as to what media works best. My wii will play nearly anything, even really crappy disks. One of my friends has a wii that only plays verbatum -R and memorex +R. You have to experiment and try what works. If you're getting alot of disk read errors then you need to try a different brand, burn speed or burner.

Usually I burn at 4x. That seems to give the best results for me. But like I said every wii is different.

Mod chips have better load times and perfect compatibility. Plus they dont have to worry about a firmware update blocking them. The downside though is that you need to open the wii, which requires a special screwdriver. Different wii chipsets require different modchips (Check your chipset here http://www.wiidrives.com/list ) And if you lack soldering skills then you want to get a modchip with a wiiclip attached to it.

As for the USB loader, I havent gotten to try that out yet. I was going to install and test it soon but stupidly broke my wii. So I cant really answer questions about that one till it's fixed. Sorry.

Anything good is worth waiting for.

I prefer Verbatim and Taiyo Yuden, so I accept mail order and waiting.

I burn at 4x and 8x with Verbatim and TY with no problems.
