I got sucked in by the mywiidownloads site and i followed the intall instructions but now I have come across a problem that my wii now says that the system files are currupted and the wii wont do anything.
I Have done a bit of research and have found something called "savemii" but i am unsure about it, and ideally would like to fix it the cheapest way possible.

Can anyone out there help?

What is your firmware version? Do you have a mod chip?

If you have a GameCube controller you can use that instead of buying the SaveMii hardware.

All you need to do is place the GC controller in port 4 of the Wii and hold down Left, Right, Up and down on the D-Pad at the same time (you may have to disassemble the GC controller to be able to press down all D-Pad buttons at the same time).

Follow this diagram HERE to try to fix the Wii.

I don't mean to sound rude but it sounds ridiculous.
Are you sure about that, what else would I need to do after that?
I'm pretty new at this (as if you cant tell)

With 3.4 and no modchip, I think your best bet is to send it to Nintendo for repair. Bad timing too, because I read that they've just implemented some sort of steep charges for hacked Wiis.

A word of advice, you should look into the validity of a response, and the integrity of the responder before calling his post ridiculous; especially when he's trying to help. Had you done some searching, you would know that SaveMiiFrii is an actual solution. People have reported success with this method (that larrylje was talking about). Maybe you're distrusting others because you've been burnt by "mywiidownloads", but a little more tact will get you far.

If I wasn't sure I wouldn't have given you the info. It actually works just like SaveMii. But if you want to waist your $ and buy SaveMii when a GC controller will do the same by all means spend the $.

Can you boot into Maintenance Mode?

To try and boot into Maintenance mode Hold + and - down and press A on the WiiMote when booting the system. If it works then run AnyTitle Deleter and delete the corrupt title.

If Maintenance Mode doesn't work then you need to install a Modchip and use SaveMii or the GC controller to run AnyTitle Deleter boot disc and delete the corrupt title.

sorry if i was out of line with my comments, I will choose my words more carefully.

I tried what you suggested but to no avail, It just continues to say "the system files are corrupted Please see operation manual" I dont get the health warning or anything.

I did some reading on the SaveMii and it says that "The SaveMii can un-brick most consoles, but there is still one of two that are bricked in such a way where the SaveMii won?t work, or if your console was bricked by the latest firmware 3.4, you will have to wait for a game with v3.5 firmware to be released before you will be able to attempt to un-brick the console." and for this reason i'm not sure if this will work for me, any thoughts?

I have been doing some searching and found the site below and think that the price of the modchip and/or SaveMii/Gamecube controller, maybe this option may be feasable.

One question slightly off topic if i could, is having my wii softmodded worthwhile by this i mean does it need a lot of attention/maintenance? the reason for this is that i am thinking if the SaveMii would be used more than once for a saving in the long run.

Thats probably enough for now, I look forward to hearing your thoughts

There is a good chance that the Wii can be unbricked if you have a Modchip and SaveMii or GC controller. More then likely the system files are corrupted error is due to a bad WAD install. Using AnyTitle Deleter Auto-Boot disc should let you delete the title that is causing the issue.

In order to boot the AnyTitle Deleter you need a Modchip and SaveMii or GC controller trick.
