Hello every one. I can't connect to the internet from my PSP help me please !!! it says a connection error has occured. A conection to the access point could not be established. Check the security settings for the network and try again.
If you know what i can do in this situation ..... please HELP !

Need more info.

Is your WiFi switch on?

Is your home network secured?

Goto Network settings.
Infrastructure mode (your home network)
new connection
Scan (look to see you if home network is broadcasting)
Should be scanning now
Now your network and any others in the area should show up
your signal strength should be 100% if close enough (try to get as close to 100% as you can)
Select your network
SSID (should be the name of your network)
scroll right
WLAN Security Setting You need to match your home network here
WEP Key enter your key here if using WEP
WPA Key (TKIP) enter your key here if using WPA
WPA KEY (AES) enter your key here if using WPA

ADDRESS SETTINGS
use EASY
Connection Name
Give it a name (your connection)
Review settings
scroll and save
Test settings
Done.

If that don't work. turn off you network security and attempt a non secure connection. if it works turn on the security again and retry the about. Most problems tend to be not match the security of your home network of a poor signal strength.

my psp wouldn't connect at all, i upgraded to 5.00M33-6 and for some reason it connected first time it would connect with WEP when i changed it but not WPA till the upgrade some routers may have compatability issues with the psp, there are so many out there they can't all be tested what router do you have and what security settings you using? i.e mac filtering wep wpa how long is the password and other settings Don't post your actual password and sensative info just the length of password and other settings ( i had a hexadecimal password long too it caused me problems.
