Im baffled so im hoping that someone else knows whats going on, i bought a 2nd hand psp a while, when i got it the batterie was damaged, no problem, just buy a new batt right? well i bought a brand new vpind 3600mah batt, such high capacity that is poked out of the psp about 1.5 cm, it worked, i could take it off the charger and use it, until it went flat, WHILE IT WAS ON THE CHARGER! so i turned it off and left it for 17 hours, i came back and it was stuck on 42%, so i tried it, within 10 mins it was flat, my damaged batt was better than that, so i put it back on the charger and now it only goes up to 25% and stops, and i take it off it goes dead flat within about 45 seconds. is it the battery or the psp? i assume its the battery but its brand new, whats going on?

Try the battery in someone elses PSP. (Or borrow a battery from someone for a day) Then you will know if its the psp or the battery.

Those batteries are known to be.. not good. Try a Sony battery and you should be fine.

u could do a lot of things here. like try borrowing ur friend's psp battery and charge it with ur psp. u could also buy an independent charger for ur battery and see if it works.
