US Wii with Korean Mii Channel

Guys I just bough another wii from my cousins co-worker for really really cheap.....But its an original Korean Wii with 3.2U The wii has been modded and they switched the firmware to a US version but the Mii Channel is all in Korean. Is there a way to change this? And can i update the wii with a US version of madworld to get it to 3.4 without damaging anything? What do you guys know about korean wiis being modded and switched to US firmware? Thanks!!
