Hi,
after using dvd encrypter I use the ifo.edit for selecting the languages but how do I get rid of the xtra features (like trailers,...) how can I recognise which files they are
May be a stupid question but hey this is all new for me.
Thanks in advance,
Steven

Use Ifoedit, Click on the "Vob Extras" at the top of the screen. From there select "strip streams"
From there it should become fairly obvious what you have on your files (subtitles, languages etc.)
Just do one small step at a time.

Having ripped your files, I'm assumnf that because you managed to burn them to a disc, the file total must have been <4.7GB.
If you want to play them via your settop, you will need to open Ifoedit again, and load the files. Then use the features "Get VTS sectors).
Answer yes, evey time it prompts you.
Then burn the files.
It should then play on your settop box.

Homer ,
Thanks for your reply, whe I burned it file was only 3,5 gb.
before burning I tested it and loaded the ifo files and pressed get vts sectors +saved, dan dragged the whole file temp file into Nero and burned the file.
also the disc won't play straight on PC or external dvd-player, only works if I launch it from Ifoedit and without subtitles even though the VTS file shows Language Englis and subpicture Dutch ?
any suggestions?

The only folder that should be on the DVD is VIDEO_TS (yes, all caps) Inside it should be your .vob, .ifo and .bup files and nothing else. If, as it sounds, you burnt the temp folder it won't work.
