I went into the folder to where i wanted the DVD movie to be saved. I thought it would save it as one icon to click and watch the movie on my HD but in fact
it was now in about 20 different icons, like chapters and other things.
Is there a way so i can copy the DVD and when its copied that i just click on ONE icon to view the film in its entirety?
I'm new to this(i'm sure you can tell that by the above). Thanks in advance.
No problem PoG. I know at least two ways to do what you are trying to do:
1. WinDVD (ver 5) will play the files as they exist on your HD. Make sure all the files are in a folder called VIDEO_TS. In WinDVD, upper left corner pull down menu, change the source to "DVD from folder...". Browse down and select your VIDEO_TS folder, select "open", and the movie should start.
2. Next time you rip with Decrypter, select "ISO Mode" via the pull down menu "Mode, ISO Mode, Read". It'll rip a single ISO file to your HD. You'll need to "mount" that ISO file as a virtual drive using Daemon Tools or similar... a simple process. Once that file is mounted, your DVD playing software will likely autostart. Else, you can manually start and select the newly mounted movie as the source.
