It doesn't either just like 360. It might work if you download to 3.2U and then install starfall.

Try again! D2PRO9 has region free capabilities.

Plus you do not have to downgrade or add starfall.

To activate region free you need to insert a game disc that is the same region as your Wii system (you should have done this stright away after the Modchip was installed).

Example:

PAL Wii play a PAL game disc first.
NTSC(USA) Wii play a NTSC(USA) game disc first.
NTSC(Japan) Wii play a NTSC(Japan) game first.

Doing this will set the region free properly so you can play Import games.

You also need to make sure you do not semi-brick the Wii system by updating the system with an Import game disc. Go HERE for more information on this.

I'm almost positive that the Utility disc for D2PRO9 has an option to block game updates from being performed. Enabling this will also help protect yourself from an Import disc that might have an update on it. You can get the Utility disc HERE.

HERE is a compatibility list for Imports. As well using Gecko OS to boot Imports can help Import compatibility. So do a search for Gecko OS.
