How can I transfer a program

I have on one computer a program that I got from giveawayoftheday I would like to know how I can transfer it to my other pc. I once did it with a game and moved the whole folder but am unable to do it again

You have to find the installation file and
actually install in on the other PC.

Can you tell me what an installation file looks like
where do I find it
and can I move it with a thumb drive.
Or anything else I need to know to do it properly

It's usually and EXE file (eg. somename.exe)

Hi I found the whole folder but no exe in there
I moved it to the other pc and then tried to start it
It wanted me to register it which I couldnt.
Do you know where I would find just the exe or should I just give up.

If you could remember the name, perhaps you could do a
hard drive search. Beyond that, I'm out of ideas.

I know the name I just dont know how to find it I found the folder without the exe in it

There is no easy way to transfer a program from one computer to another. When you originally installed it in computer A, it wrote entries (serno etc) into the windows registry. Moving the program folder to computer B won't work in most cases because computer B won't have the necessay registry entries needed.

There are specialized programs that will "move" the program from computer A to B and make it work (because it will also move all the registry entries. (laplink pcmover and anovasoft softrescue). That's an option if you can't find your original installation files/serno.

I went to the page and found this link and before I downloaded anything/ I wanted to ask you is this the right one.
Because it seems free and the other links dont see to be if I am reading it correctly.

Installation

Unzip the package you`ve downloaded and run Setup.exe to install the software, then run the activation program Activate.exe which is included in the package.


You have to install it before the Giveaway offer for the software is over.

Terms and conditions

Please note that the software you download and install during

File name is wonderlanddvdripperplatinum.zip. Look in your download folder. Run setup.exe. Only other file in folder is read me text that I pasted above.
