Hey everyone here at Afterdawn, I am posting this forum here today for the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button which I have recently noticed has an issue on my backup. What I have noticed is that the movie backup gets to a certain point in the movie where the woman does a dance for Benjamin in the Gazebo then goes over and sits by him and then at a certain point during the talking the scene seems to continue to replay itself over and over again without sound. After spotting this I ran Vobblanker to see if I could remove some of that scene and I found that there is nothing shown after that scene but from watching the original I know there is about another quarter of the movie to go yet. I know the whole movie was ripped to my hard Drive because I Compared the size from the original with that on my hard drive and they were the same. When Nero recode 3 analyzes the movie it encounters a problem and needs to close somewhere between %57 and %62 but DVD Shrink gets past it even with the two pAnalyzelize/Encode and the resulting backup is the problem I am talking about. Does anyone here know if there is a new type/kind of copy protection making it's emergence with this movie?. Or maybe the Original has something wrong with it. A Question I have is would you considerlegalegal to rent then copy the movie from the rental even if you own the Original?. I Made and mounted an ISO Image of the Movie and tried to open it with the latest version of DVD Fab Decrypter but it just seems to continue over and over trying to open the movie with no progress. All and any help with this issue/problem will be appreciated, Thanks for any help.

Are you using DVD Shrink to call on Nero for burning?
If you are, what version of Nero are you using?

Hi, being this is a very very new movie, may I offer, just return your origional and exchange it for a good copy, then there will no other issues we need to deal with except backing up your own legally purchased copy

I Made and mounted an ISO Image of the Movie and tried to open it with the latest version of DVD Fab Decrypter but it just seems to continue over and over trying to open the movie with no progress. All and any help with this issue/problem will be appreciated, Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the Reply's I am not sure what you meen by using Shrink to call on Nero, I am using the latest versions of software for both programs I am no newby to Computers or Movie backups. What I meant by I made and mounted an ISO Image was that I ripped my movie in file mode then used IMG Burn to make an ISO Image file so I would not have to continue to handle my original anymore as to preserve it's condition, I then loaded that image onto a virual drive using Alcohol %120 then opened DVDFab Decrypter and it had a hard time reading/opening the image for me to check the ripping settings I want, now do you understand or has your mind cloaded over like mine from years of Computer Addiction. I am returning my original tonight and then I will try backuping it up again. Thanks for your reply's. I tried to use DVD Fab Decrypter to rip the movie using the latest version so that it could hopefully remove or see the problem with the movie and get passed it.

Thanks for the Info bryston, I will try the earlyer version of DVDFab I am not a fan of AnyDVD because I feel any movoe can be backed up without having to pay for software and why pay when you can get what you want for free. I was also wondering why an earlyer version of software may work when they usualy inprove on software with every new version, I am sure you also wonder why.
