I'm using Dvd shrink to try and burn a dvd-9 onto a dvd-r. When I shrink the dvd (to save as an ISO) it gets to about 95-98% and then says could not write image not enough space on the disc. I have a 120 Gb drive with 111 Gb free, can somebody please help. it's driving me mad.. I've followed the guide on this site exactly and everything works until the error comes up at the end. It doesn't even get to the burning stage, then if I try to open them it says not a valid file.

all I'm using is DVD Shrink and decryptor. I did it again and saved it as a video_ts and now i can't burn it...i think i'm gonna go mad, i've been at it all day and shrink takes about 90 mins to do the movie before i know if its going to work or not.

Try using DVDdecrypter> Go to Mode>under there go to ISO>read>click the DVD and go. When finished saving image to HD, Now use DVD Shrink
DVDShrink>File>Click open disc image>it will find the file you saved as an .ISO Now open the file and either you can do the whole movie or do the entire disc.> Hit backup>after analysis it will burn using DVDDecrypter to disk

aldav45,

I think what Mike meant to say was use DVD Shrink to rip your DVD, edit and compress and when you hit "Backup" choose ISO and for destination, choose a pre-named folder on your HD. When it's nice and comfy lounging around the insides of your PC fire up Decrypter and select that ISO file on your HD and then burn to disc - done and done :P)

Pete

Oooohhh yea, Welcome to our Neighborhood :D)

What file system is used on your hard drive? V32fat does not allow a file more than 4gig in size. For a DVD iso you have to use NTFS. XP has a conversion tool built in.
