Harman Kardon has announced it will release its first Blu-ray player, dubbed the BDP-10, and will be BD-Live capable. The BDP-10 will also have "advanced audio codec support and will play back 1080/24p videos without pulldown conversion." A USB slot allows for JPEG and DivX playback from flash drives. It might be interesting, but I wonder how the performance and price are. Too bad it's ugly as crap. Compare this with the elegance of say the Pioneer BDP-09FD, which by the way is totally awesome.

This is ugly but the one you linked to isn't? I will take this smaller "ugly" guy over that big pioneer any day.

I agree with DXR88. It had better bark, roll over, sing a song, and talk back before I could buy something that expensive. I like the quality of their electronics, but damn, those Harman Kardon folks need to keep the price down, waaaay down. - BLUEBOY

The specs on this are basically a PS3 that can't play games and cost almost double the price... I don't know...
