I've heard from this guy, who heard from a guy, and so on, about a kind of software that you can use to make ISO games playable on the psp 3000 system... some sort of program that doesn't require that you hack the psp. I'm not sure on whether or not to believe him or not, but he told me that it's a special kind of software that allows homebrew games to be played on it. Is there really a software like that?

There is the new ChickHEN homebrew enabler that just came out but ISOs will not work on it only homebrew. If however they added that function in a update or made a ISO loader application for the TA88v3 and 3000 PSPs then it could be possible to run "backups".

ok, i checked out the link to the chickHEN program that you mencioned, but it only works on 5.03? the guy said it could work on firmware 5.50 tho. any news about that?

Yes it will only run on 5.03 right now but they could make a new exploit that will run on 5.50.
