I have PS2 Slim that I didn't use for a long time and a bunch of games that are scratched and are in bad shape (will not work any time soon) but I heard that I can copy them and play. Can someone please explain how it is done since I am a noob. I can get Game Shark if that will do the trick. Please help I don't want to buy games that I already own just because discs are getting out of order. Thanks in advance.

Ps2 model is: SCPH-70012

If the disks are still readable you can use imgburn to make an ISO image of them.

You could then install fmcb 1.8 by any of the methods posted in these tutorials, and using the ESR.ELF and a disc patcher you can play those backups on your ps2 slim.

You can do a further search in this forum on fmcb and esr if you wish.
