PSX games on PSP problems..

what's wrong with my psp?
i am trying to play psx games on the psp
i followed a youtube video and attempts have been tried these are the following results..

1. from a burnt CD Ergheiz psx game (the squaresoft game with the ff characters in it) -

works fine, though doesnt show the opening fmv and can take ages to load and
the music cuts out but the sound effects are still going

2. Galerians Original PSX CD
doesnt even go pass the PS1 theme (when you put the cd in and it makes that weird sound effect with the PS logo)

3. Resident Evil 3 Nemesis
Go passes the PS theme with the weird effects, but after the opening FMV before starting the game.. it freezes and its just a black screen.

4. A downloaded game (with .bin and .cue files specifically from romhustler.net) Persona 1:

I have tried that.. it works fine until you reach a part at teh beginning of the game where you name ur main character...

Can anybody help me.. what is it that is wrong?

Oh and btw i got version 5.00 M33 CFW on my PSP

hi mate, does it work on 5.00 M33-4 or M33-6????
ive got 4 now but planning to update to 6
cos its for 5.00 M33-2...
