You probably have cIOS37 installed and need to use AnyTitle deleter to uninstall it.
Then go HERE and follow this guide. This will fix the blue screen #002 error your getting.
You do not have to patch your backups. They will boot using 1 to 1 copies.

cIOS37 and cIOS36 installs under IOS249. I have never uninstalled an older cIOS like 37 before so try to do some research and make sure that IOS249 is the correct IOS to uninstall to delete cIOS37 from the system.
After that you should be able to install cIOS36_rev9.
You also need to uninstall DVDx.

Why did you delete IOS36? Hope you don't have any issues with that deleted.
First thing first use google to search and download IOS36-64-v1042.wad and then place that into the wad folder on the SD Card. Then use WAD Manager to install it (you should never had uninstalled IOS36).
After you have installed IOS36 move the IOS36-64-v1042.wad file to the root of the SD Card.
Now run cIOS36_rev9 and choose WAD Install and hopefully now the custom IOS should install.
If you ran the cIOS36_rev9 installer and used the WAD Install (instead of WiFi) and didn't have IOS36-64-v1042.wad at the root of the SD Card then you would get the ret- error.

larrylje strikes again
works like a charm now mate thx, also cutscenes are not jumping anymore
i dont think deleting ios36 made any difference, originals still work fine,
has been off the network for ages can i now connect or will it screw up with updates?
IOS36-64-v1042.wad was in a folder not on root
need to sort out loading from usb now :)

Did you reinstall IOS36 by running IOS36-64-v1042.wad with WAD Manager? I would highly recommend you do it.
You can use the WiFi with no problem.
All you need to do now for USB Loader is to download it and boot it via HBC.
You can get everything you need HERE at this guide under the USB Loader section.
