No windows vista sounds or embedded flash sounds

I'm using a realtek HD audio sound card and all of a sudden my windows sound cuts out, they do not work at all and flash videos on sites like youtube do not work as well. But all of my other sound work like my Games, Zune, Winamp, Windows media player. I've tired to reinstall drivers from both my motherboard CD and directly from the website. I've tired to reinstall Adobe Flash which has not worked. And i've tired to edit my registry Wavemapper file which has not worked either... Any ideas at all? I have no clue what to do. I've tried everything that I can think of and still no result. Please help!!
