xbox360 backup games will not work on xbox console

I had no problems backing up my original xbox 360 games and playing them on my console, until backing up Wanted and wolverine x-men origins. When I place the back up game in my console, all I get is a big 360 on my screen, and play pause rewind etc. buttons. Can someone help please.

what version of iextreme firmware do you have?
What brand discs did you use? was it different fr your last succesful ones?

Those two are wave 3 games, just flash your drive with iXtreme 1.6 when it gets released today.

PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

I'm sorry, not up to par on this stuff. How do you flash the drive? Are you talking about the x-box 360 console. I was and am using verbatim DVD+R DL. Never had a problem until these wave 3 games I guess. Thanks for any info..

When they say flash the drive, they mean the 360 console cause all you are actually flashing is the dvd drive that reads the discs. Do you know what firmware your console is flashed with. Those are wave 3 games and you need ixtreme 1.51 or the new 1.6 to play those stealth.

Hopefully your drive isn't Hitachi, cause 1.6 isn't out yet for that drive yet! It's still being worked on... But ya upgrade to 1.6 and you should be good to go!

Well there are images online to compare which drive you have by ejecting it, but it's kind of outdated, cause there's not just Hitachi and Samsung anymore. But if you open up the box, it will say on the top if it's a Hitachi! Does your system have HDMI? I ask this because rarely they have the Hitachi Drive. I've only seen one that I've modded.

iXtreme 1.6 is out for the BenQ/Samsung/LiteOn drives, but for the Hitachi, they don't have a release date confirmed for it.
