Hi every1. I have a laptop that has a fried wireless adapter and a PSP waaaanting to play on Xlink so I decided to buy a WifiMax. I bought the one that is listed on their forum. I wanted to know if it was possible to use my WifiMax to connect TO the internet on that laptop when I wanted to AND be able to switch towards making that computer a wifi outlet itself. I have a wireless network installed in my home. Thnx for your help in advance.

if you have a wireless network in your home already and wifi max for your laptop then all that you need is to download XLink Kai and find a guide on how to set it up for your psp

i don't see why you need to make your laptop a wifi access point if you already have a wifi router that your using your laptop + wifimax to connect to

also i kow wifi max is mainly used to create an access point not so much as a wifi adapter to connect to the internet with so you may need ZDWLan Utility to switch it from an access point to station.
