Hi,
I never had a problem burning any DVDR w/ my dd0201 (firmware 2.50E). The problem I found out is that some DVD+R when played they are not readable after around 50% of the movie.
I found the problem doing a fast chapter fast forward. If the movie is let say 25 chapters at chap 14-15 the laser can't find anymore the track. This happens on any player (burner included). Somebody any idea ? The problem for now never happened w/ DVD-R.
thank you in advancea

OK it happened even with a DVD-R. I may be have an explanation and would be happy if anybody got the same problem. I got these coasters if I was trying pretty heavy multitasking (100%CPU while I was burning or decoding I was decoding/compressing another DVD on the other drive). Could that be the reason (but I didn't get any warning or buffer underruns) ? It looks like (for now) it doesn not happen if I leave the PC 100% alone.
