Wii Internet Channel wad not working

I'm on wii ver3.4U. I've just done a softmod using bannerbomb. After following the online sequence, i've tried installing internet channel wad file using wad manager 1.4. I used iso16 to read the wad file off SD card. Installation went good with no glitch. but when i launch the interrnet channel, i get error msg, something abt not the channel could not open.

I'm wondering if i did anything wrong or have i downloaded the wrong wad version?

Make sure you have the correct region WAD.

You can always try using freethewads to make sure it is set to your region or set it to region free.

You say you have version 3.4U?
That may be why. I'm surprised it allowed the wad installation,but you should downgrade your firmware to 3.2.
Your firmware might be blocking the use of wads.

Wrong!
He installed the channel using WAD manager 1.4. It would've blocked him at the installation using a lower version of WAD Manager with a -2011 error.

A wad file can be installed on any firmware if you have it exploited properly. There is no need to downgrade to 3.2 firmware.
