I know asking for a forum or site that have torrents is probably against the rules.. if it isn't please post 'em
Since it's probably against the rules to post links to such sites however. Could someone tell me how to search for such sites?.. 360 games, 360 torrents, etc,etc.. don't work too well in google.
I read two names Revtt and abgx360, tried searching for both and couldn't find a list or any iirc info.

Creative, except I already own over 100 360 games. I lost them in a fire. I can post the picture of a huge mass of melted green plastic.

That'd be sad but I'd love to see.

Really backups are legal when you have the copy of the game in condition. You cant prove they are backups if your "purchased" disc is melted. If that was the case, i could say i owned all games but they are "melted." Not trying to mouth you just saying how that can't really be a valid excuse. I'm sorry your games broke. That really sucks. You can always search through torrents which is Illegal to dowload copyrighted material without owning it. Or use a usenet service.

Fudpucker, maybe you should read my message again. I didn't mouth him. I was explaining how you can't use the messed up games as an excuse. IT's still illegal. You dont know what i'm doing so please don't make false accusations. Maybe you are pirating illegal material, good for you. I told him to search a torrent or use a usenet service. Even if everyone else was doing the same thing, it's still illegal and everyone else isn't talking about it. So shame on you fudpucker for the false accusation, i tried to help. He can take what he wants from it. He needs to know the rules just like everyone else.

Not trying to one up you. You just said you had them purchased. ANyone could say that. If you have all the receipts, then good for you. Could all your games not be taken out on insurance? I'm pretty sure you can receive money for things lost in house fire. I told you two things already to get games, usenet or torrents. Search through those. Usenet require subscription but guarnateed fast speeds as long as you have fast internet. Torrent not guaranteed fast speed especially if you don't know how to set your client up correctly. Not arguing with you, take the help or leave it. Funny the fire melted the games but never burnt the receipts, pretty lucky i guess.

don't listen to guys like eot trying to "call people out". It's dumb.
Usenet is the best. I highly recommend it for connection and security purposes.

I'm not calling him out. I thought we weren't allowed to talk about pirating stuff on this site. Correct me if i'm wrong. Not being snotty. I want to know if we are allowed to ask about pirating on here.

eh...
just don't be dumb about it. If you do do it, I would not say something like "I don't own any games, I download them all".
Here's the rules:
Quote:
Case: Pirated material, such as serial numbers and direct links to pirated, copyrighted material (including direct links to torrent files and ed2k links). PROHIBITED
Case: Posting "descrambling codes" or similar codes that allow unlicensed viewing of protected material. PROHIBITED
Case: Technical, in depth discussion about copy protection circumvention (i.e. cracking). PROHIBITED
Case: Discussion about pirated content and piracy, such as converting (downloaded) video and/or audio files to DVD/AudioCD/whatever format. PERMITTED
Case: Discussion about copy protection circumvention in general (extracting encrypted content, such as DVD movies, compact discs, copy protected console and computer software, using existing software). PERMITTED
Case: Links to sites offering possibly pirated content (including torrent files and ed2k links). PERMITTED
So no direct links basically, but general discussion, which releases, seems fine.

I just didn't want to get banned. Lot of forums are pretty extreme about it. No point in taking a chance when i'm a new member. Thank you guesswho for letting me know.

I think alot of people post replies on this forum just to increase post counts. (I could be accused of the same here but oh well....)
the fact is piracy is NOT legal. Possessing b/u copies of games you are currently IN POSSESSION OF is at best a grey area of legality. people are quick to flame around here which is fine for the most part but redundant at best. A quick search answers most of the questions but you could simply suggest sites such as nzbsrus.c0m or thepiratebay without suggesting piracy. We are not the internet police and should not scold people just for the hell of it. That is what the mods are here for.
great analogy with the BMW btw!! spot on

Rakaa, if your going to use torrent, iwould suggest you subscribe to a free torrent site such as i love torrents. They have good info about the torrents and are usually free registration. Get good download speeds too. Usenet is best but cost money.
