Hey everyone,

First, let me thank you all for helping me out with my media questions. I recently upgraded to a spindle of Ritek G04's, for the low low cost of 87 CDN (after tax... ouch!)

Well, having heard that Taiyo Yuden are #1, and really, wanting to try an alternate source of media, I did some shopping around. Lo and behold, London Drugs is having a sale. 9.98 for a 5 pack of Fuji 4x (both dvd-r and +r, although the +r packages all read taiwan)

it is even in their "computer flyer" (found inside the store, right in front of the computer departments). Enterprising young lady I am, I took that flyer to Staples, and lo and behold, same 5pack costs 18.95. Voila I say to myself. with their price guarentee (staples), that 5 pack now costs me 5.50 + taxes.

So i bought 9 of them for 57$ after taxes. All in all, I assume as long as you take the advertisement in, plus check with LD to make sure they have stock, you too can replicate this feat.

Oh, and should anyone wonder where I got the Ritek's, it was from ncix.com (they have several stores in vancouver/richmond/burnaby. 87$ after taxes for a spindle of 50.
