Sup folks. CompUsa's 20th Anniversary sale yesterday offered a Buslink DVD Burner at a very good price that I couldnt pass up. Yet, here I sit 24+ hours later almost at my wits end.

Along with my new drive I picked up a copy of DVD X Copy Platinum Version 321.

After reading countless message boards, reading about court affairs, and downloading various programs the best result Ive had has been backing up my copy of Seabiscuit. This was achieved by writing the CD in advanced mode, with the movie being compressed onto one disk. The disk was created with 'ANYDvd'(which now wont uninstall btw, lol) running in the background.

The backup does play on my PC, but unfortunately gets stuck on the federal warning screen when I attempt to play the disk on the two DVD players I have connected to my televisions. One is an older Sony model while the other is a new Toshiba player.

Should I attempt to revert to an older version of DVD X Copy Platinum(4038?). Am I completely ignoring a neccessary step in this whole process?

I would really appreciate any suggestions or solutions. Thanks!
