I've been playing back-ups since August 2008. Started with ix1.41 and now on ix1.6. Run all the isos through ABGX360.

Been banned once.

Now I only rip my own originals ;)

I will however test backups on my live system to see if they work before giving them away.

Been playing since summer 06, been banned one time. That was before all the stealth checks and so on. Have Elite xbox now with ix1.51 now, updating to ix1.6 this week.
